National Account Manager
VAR Technology Finance – Greater Dallas Area (Dallas/Fort Worth Area)
We are looking for a talented National Account Manager to join a sales team responsible for providing leasing and financing services to businesses nationally.
VAR Technology Finance is a rapidly-growing IT Lease and Finance company with a 29-year history in the industry. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generate new and repeat sales
- Determine end-user customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions, recommending alternate products based on cost or specifications
- Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profiles
- Accurately process or oversee customer lease transactions from origination to termination
- Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
- Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes and product development by attending sales meetings and trainings
- Meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the sales team
- Maintain proficiency in using personal computer and internal CRM tool.
- Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
Desired skills and experience:
Sales and customer service are a key requirement and focus of this position. Candidates must be self-starters, capable of managing multiple accounts, and comfortable working under call and sales goals. Travel is minimal.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a business related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales role
- Fluency in the Microsoft Office software suite
